The game begins with a gentle learning curve, allowing players to familiarize themselves with the mechanics. However, as the levels progress, the difficulty steadily increases. This ensures sustained engagement and excitement once players have found their rhythm in the game.

How to Play:

• Select a starting letter and swipe up, down, left, or right to connect letters in the correct order and form words.
• To successfully complete each puzzle, all squares on the board must be covered by the path(s) formed by connected letters.
• The background artwork provides clues about the puzzle's theme. A plain background indicates that there is no specific theme.
• Hook-up other valid words to earn stars. These words can be of any length and do not have to relate to the current theme.
• Every level is solvable; however, you may get stuck if one of your paths blocks certain squares. Simply use the RESET button if needed.
• If you encounter trickier levels, hints are available to assist you in finding the solution!

About the Developer:

I'm a non-techie mother of three incredible kids who initially conceived Word Hookup while helping them enhance their vocabulary. Developing this game has truly been a family endeavor, with everyone making valuable contributions. Notably, my talented 14-year-old daughter created the game's graphics, while my 10-year-old twins assisted in compiling word lists and testing.
